According to Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, the 2024/25 sunflower campaign began with the planting of 3.2% of the projected 1.85 million hectares. Quite delayed compared to the previous campaign.
Regarding wheat, out of the estimated 6.3 million hectares, 85% have Normal/Good cultivation conditions. For now, 48% are under Adequate/Optimal water condition.
Regarding barley, low temperatures have delayed the development of the crop. 65% is under good soil moisture condition.
The corn harvest continues with slow progress due to rains, reaching almost 98.7% of the national total, registering a yield of 6.49 tons/hectare. The harvest projection remains at 46.5 million hectares.
