Rains helped to continue planting processes, but also generated some parcels that had to be replanted.
Soybeans: it has already reached 92.9% of the estimated area for this year of 17.3 million hectares. Approximately 98% of the planted area is considered to be in good/excellent condition, making the first crop estimation reach 52.0 million tons (2022/2023 was 20.0 million tons).
Corn planting, meanwhile, reached 84.6% of the estimated area of 7.1 million hectares. The crops are in good/excellent condition due to good humidity conditions. It is estimated that this year it could reach a record of 59.0 million tons (2022/2023 was 36.0 million tons).
In the case of sunflower, the harvest began with yields within those expected and reaching less than 2% of the planted area. The harvest estimate is 3.8 million tons.
