According to last report from Bolsa de Cereales of Buenos Aires, sunflower seed sowing was benefited by some scattered rains in the central area. However it does not improved the general condition of the plants, affected by the lack of humidity. Up to now, just above of 450.000 hectars have been sowed (22,7%) of the total estimated of 2 millions hectars.
Regarding Corn, sowing reached 3% of the estimated area for the 2022/23 crop of 7.5 millions hectars. The lack of rains in the area relented the sowing path. Estimated sowing area has been reduced by 200.000 hectars (-2,6%) and the sowing is delayed 5.5%, both figures compared to last campaign.
