According to last report from Bolsa de Cereales of Buenos Aires, deterioration of the soyabeans was affected by the high temperatures registered during last 60 days and also due to early frosts registered in some western areas. This reduces again the crop estimation to 33.5 million tons (43.8 millions tons last year). Anyway, the drought continues and still can damage the yield evenmore.

On the sunfowerseed side, the harvest continues slowly, reaching 24.5% of the sowing area(2 millions hectares). Plants conditions still show that 75% is in good to excellent condition supporting a crop estimation of 3.9 million tons.

Regarding the corn, harvest labours already started in some NE areas being the yields lower than expected due to the drought. For this reason, crop estimations are reduced to 41.5 millions tons (21.2% less than last year). However, we must wait to see harvest progress as yield can still be affected by the drought.
