According to last report from Bolsa de Cereales of Buenos Aires, registered high temperatures during the last fornight, depleted water reserves and generated additional losses and a reduction in the harvestable area.
The new soybeans crop estimation is 27 million tons, which would be the lowest in the last 15 years.
Corn, meanwhile, is also suffering for the same extreme temperatures and the new crop estimation was reduced to 37.5 million tons, which means 14.5 million tons less than the previous season.On the sunflower side, the harvest reached 36.1% of the planted area (2 million hectares). The state of the crop is still in good condition and estimation remais unchange: 3.9 million tons.
